The story of our Cavalli dress

It all started with a picture of a Cavalli dress in a fashion magazine. We saw this dress and actually at this moment we fell in love with it. We looked at each other and knew, this was a sign of god, we had to sew this divine dress. So the story of Marion, Razan and the dress began. First of all we looked for adequate fabrics. When we found the suitable material we started with the sectional drawing. After the sectional drawing the drama of a long history began. We often tried on the dresses because they didn’t fit at first. It was a very soul-destroying moment in our life. During the sewing we got more and more depressed because nothing went on the right way. Sometimes we wanted to give up, it was very emotional. After some time we started to think more positive, and cheered up. Despite our hurdles we never lost the goal to sew the perfect dresses. The fun started with modelling the chiffon strips on the dresses. In the course of time the form of the dresses were developed.

Whenever we look at the dresses the memories of this period come back. And yeah, it was a very hard time but this time brought us together. The efforts were worth it because the dresses were presented at the shopping mall – Q19. We were very proud of ourselves. : )
