A trip to London
The trip to London from 28th February to 6th March was very exciting for the students of 2FKA and 2FKB. We had a really great time there. Our English teacher Mrs Kara organized a culture-week in London together with Mrs Kern, Mrs Nikitsch and Mr Deutsch.
We went to Europe’s biggest city, London, and saw a world of culture, fashion and trade. But we also learned about the plague, Jack the Ripper and heard some of London’s darkest and scariest stories in the London Dungeon.
The classes were split into groups of two or three students. We all had different host families, who were very nice and friendly and most of them had really good cooking skills!
We went to school for three hours every day, and after school we visited a lot of attractive sights like Buckingham Palace, Shakespeare’s Globe, Big Ben, the Tower of London, London Bridge, Madame Tussaud’s, London Dungeon, the Arsenal, a lot of parks and buildings, Oxford street etc. I could go on writing but it wouldn’t end.
We had a very busy but interesting time there. I am sure we’ll go back in the future.
