A week at London-on-sea
From 30th March to 6th April we, the students of 2 HMM, and our teachers, Ms Sutrich and Ms Weber, spent a great time at the south coast of England.
In the morning we attended LTC school where native speakers helped us to improve our language skills. After class we normally went sightseeing. We visited Brighton Pier and the very unique Royal Pavilion, but also the lanes and the famous stony beach.
Staying with host families and living in English houses was a totally new experience for most of us.
One of the highlights of our trip definitely was the weekend we spent in London. On our way to Buckingham Palace, St. James’s Palace and Westminster Abbey we made sure that everything was well prepared for the royal wedding.
Going by stuffy tube and doing some shopping in crowded Regent Street on a busy Saturday afternoon was quite a challenge.
It’s only a week ago that we organized an evening for our parents and other teachers. Meant as a follow-up of our journey we showed lots of pictures and had short presentations, which all proved how much we‘ve enjoyed our trip to England.
