MALTA, a great English week on a beautiful island in the Mediterranean Sea

After an evaluation test we were split into two groups. We learned new things, we often played games for example “hangman” or “Who am I”?

We had three periods. One period took one hour and a half. After each period we had a 30 minutes break. In those breaks we sat in the Cafeteria or went to the nearby shopping mall. Our school ended at two o´clock every day.

After school we had various trips, one to Valetta, the new capital of Malta, and another day to Mdina, the old capital city of Malta.

We were also shown a hotel – a hotel employee explained us many interesting facts about the hotel business. We had a tour through this beautiful boutique hotel, next time we would like to stay there!

I think we are speaking for everybody of our class: the most beautiful day of our trip was when we went to Gozo.

It is a beautiful island next to Malta. We went there by bus and then by ferry. We made a boat trip into high caves. All of us were amazed because of the

breathtaking ink-blue sea. That was just one of the most amazing things of our school trip. We also visited the old city of Rabbat, which means ‘suburbs’ in Arabic.

Almost every day after our trips we went to the beach for an hour or two, to enjoy the sun and sea while everybody was freezing back home in Austria.

On Monday evening we were invited to the welcome party of ESE, the language school. Not only for us it was fun, it seemed that our teachers Mrs. Schmahel and Mrs. Dallinger also had a lot of fun.

On our last evening in Malta we were also allowed to go out to celebrate the most beautiful school trip we have ever had.

Thanks to our teachers for the amazing trip to Malta!
